On February 10, John Wick: Chapter 2 comes to a theater near you. Lionsgate and Starbreeze Studios have just announced that one day earlier, John Wick Chronicles, a game that fits right between the two movies, releases on Steam.

Co-developed by Starbreeze Studios, Grab Games, Big Red Button, and Gamecostudios, John Wick Chronicles is a first-person-shooter VR title that places players right in the eyes of the skilled assassin played by actor Keanu Reeves in the films (it’s unclear if Mr. Reeves has voiced John Wick in the video game).

The Steam description for the game reads as follows.

John Wick Chronicles is an immersive first-person-shooter game built from the ground up for virtual reality. Players have the chance to explore the iconic Continental Hotel and are tasked with assassinating seemingly impossible targets that only John Wick himself could handle.”

John Wick Chronicles releases on February 9. The game is available for pre-order for $19.99, and is exclusive to Steam for the HTC Vive. By pre-ordering the game, purchasers also get a free copy of Payday 2.
