Legendary action director, John Woo’s mobile game Bloodstroke is arriving on the Chinese mobile market place today.

Developed by Chimera Entertainment, Bloodstroke, sends in private security agent Mai Lee to protect the client, Dr. Koorse, to keep him alive against a bevy of “gangsters, snipers and katana-wielding bikers.”

“The team did a tremendous job developing our ideas and wishes”, says John Woo. “Bloodstroke really came out just as we envisioned it to be.”

The game is as violent and blood fueled as any of Woo’s films and boasts some really simplistic and interesting designs. The character transverses the streets of Hong Kong and Beijing, painting the black and white world more than a few shades red.
