JoJo's Bizarre Adventure premiered the first part of Stone Ocean last year in December. The anime didn't follow a simulcast release schedule, and the community got the first twelve episodes of the anime on the same day. Since then, fans have been waiting for Stone Ocean's return. Well, after a frustratingly long wait, we are finally close to Part 2's official release on Netflix.

JoJo Stone Ocean Part 2 is scheduled to release on Thursday, September 1st, 2022. Fans around the world will get the second part exclusively on Netflix, and the streaming platform will update its library with new episodes at 12 AM PT (Pacific Timing). However, the release time will vary depending on your region, so here's the exact schedule you need to follow for different time zones:

  • Pacific Timing: 12 AM PT
  • Central Timing: 2 AM CT
  • Eastern Timing: 3 AM ET
  • British Timing: 8 AM BST
  • Indian Timing: 12:30 PM IST
  • Australian Timing: 5 PM AEST

Similar to the first part, Part 2 of Stone Ocean will feature a total of 12 episodes, and you'll get all the episodes on the same day. So, you can binge-watch the new episodes at your leisure.

The Stone Ocean story arc in the manga had 158 chapters, and Part 1 of the anime covered the story of the first 50 chapters. Since the episode count of Part 2 is the same (Episode 13-Episode 24), we can assume that it will adapt the following 50 chapters, and Stone Ocean will finally conclude after giving us a third batch of episodes.

The first part of the manga's sixth story arc introduced us to Jolyne Cujoh (the daughter of Jotaro Cujoh), who got framed for a murder. Apart from that, we also met Enrico Pucci, the mysterious user of Whitesnake Stand, who wishes to establish DIO's "Perfect world."

Jolyne manifests her Stand in prison and finds herself entangled in a fight between her father and Whitesnake. Enrico successfully kills Jotaro and steals his Stand and Memory discs. Jolyne - without even knowing the identity of Whitesnake's user - fights through several enemies to get her hands on Jotaro's discs. The first part concludes with Jolyne retrieving Jotaro's Stand disc, but she still has to find her father's Memory disk to bring him back to life. Well, we might see that happening in Part 2 of JoJo Stone Ocean.
