The Persona 5 Joker x Fortnite Skin Rumored Leaks are Back - Are they Real This Time?

Is Joker really coming to Fortnite?

Over the years, Fortnite has had some incredible crossovers, there’s been Marvel, DC, Alien, Predator and so, so many more. Recently, Epic Games seems to have been including a few more video game crossovers as skins, including Kratos from God of War and Master Chief from Halo. The recent inclusions of these, plus some Twitter rumblings has meant that another video game character jas been rumoured for Fortnite. Let’s take a look at the Persona 5 Joker x Fortnite crossover rumours and examine if there is any semblance of realism in them.

What are the Joker Fortnite rumours?

Back in August last year, images were shared on Twitter that reported Joker, and some other Persona 5 cast members, would be making their way into Fortnite. Unfortunately for fans, they were quickly debunked.

Since then, however, and far more recently. The rumours started to resurface. This was mostly caused by a fake Atlus West Twitter account tweeting out a very believable picture that portrays Joker, saying he will “join the hunt”. The image was shared around Twitter thousands of times, stirring up discussions. These were made slightly more believable by the recent inclusion of some of gaming’s most recognisable characters.

Is the Persona 5 x Fortnite Crossover real?

Unfortunately, it’s highly unlikely. What’s more likely is that this image is just something somebody has created to cause a stir. While Joker could conceivably make his way into Fortnite (especially as he’s already in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate), it’s not likely that this is real.

What’s next for Fortnite?

Recently, the game added the latest skin from its Icon Series – this time, including Australian personality Lazarbeam. Players can compete in a tournament that starts today, March 3, to be in with a chance of winning this skin.
