Jujutsu Kaisen is one of the most popular anime series based on a Japanese manga of the same name. The final episode of the anime series went live on March 26. And after Season 1 came to an end, the creators confirmed that a Jujutsu Kaisen prequel movie would release this year.
Jujutsu Kaisen 0 is a prequel movie based on Gege Akutami's Jujutsu Kaisen 0: Tokyo Prefectural Jujutsu High School manga. Interestingly, similar to the anime series, MAPPA studio has taken the mantle to animate the movie.

When is Jujutsu Kaisen 0 movie coming out?
In the "Juju Fes 2021" event, the creators confirmed that the Jujutsu Kaisen anime movie would release on December 24, 2021.
Besides the release date, the anime team has also released the first key visual of the upcoming movie. The movie poster features Yuta Okkotsu and Rita; here you go, take a good look at it:
In case you're wondering, Jujutsu Kaisen 0 movie will follow the journey of Yuta Okkotsu. According to the movie's description, Yuta is a normal high school student haunted by his childhood friend Rita, who became a curse years ago.
Satoru Gojo would also be in the movie as a teacher at Jujutsu High. Interestingly, Gojo will learn about Yuta, and later, he'll motivate the boy to enroll in Jujutsu High. However, it's a mystery if Gojo will be able to confront the curse that haunts Yuta.
We don't really know when the second season of Jujutsu Kaisen anime will come out. So, it's exciting that we will see more of this amazing universe through the upcoming movie.
