The upcoming chapter will start with a huge beam of light pouring out of all ten colonies across Japan, and the civilians look astounded to see the phenomenon. It suggests that Tengen's merger with the non-sorcerers will start soon. The scene then cuts to the present, where we see Maki meet Yuji and Megumi and inform them about what Choso told her about Yuki's defeat and Tengen's capture by Kenjaku. She reveals that they still managed to secure the back gate. One panel reveals Choso crying and revealing that the ground was in terrible shape, and we only know that Kamo Noritoshi is alive. Yuki's status is yet to be confirmed.
Everyone wonders why the merger hasn't started yet and discusses the rules that should be added first. They finally decided to add four rules first, which would allow the transfer of players from the colonies. The new rule is finally added, and to make it work, the player needs to invite a new player as a substitute from outside the colonies, and then they can leave the barrier by spending 100 points.
