Bandai Namco revealed through the latest issue of Weekly Jump magazine that Jump Force will include Dio Brando and Jotaro Kujo from JoJo's Bizzare Adventure. The two will be using their respective Stands The World and Star Platinum in battle, and appear as their JoJo's Bizzare Adventure Stardust Crusaders selves. Photos of the magazine revealing both characters in the game have surfaced on Twitter.

Technically, we already knew Jotaro was in Jump Force because of an Instagram advertisement that revealed him a few days ago, before Bandai Namco's official announcement through Weekly Jump. This Instagram ad also revealed Dai from Dragon Quest Dai no Daibōken/ The Adventures of Dai, before his official reveal with screenshots and a trailer focusing on Dai and Boruto. As a side note, Dai is known in most of the world as "Fly", as his name got changed to avoid misunderstandings with the word "die". In any case, many believed that if Jotaro was in Jump Force, Dio wouldn't be far behind, and that was confirmed today.

Previous characters revealed were Boruto, Kakashi and Kaguya from the Naruto franchise. JoJo's Bizarre Adventure's Dio and Jotaro joins the 38 characters revealed so far in Jump Force for a total of 40 playable characters for now. There's a bit more if you count the original characters specifically made by Toriyama for the game which I always forget about.

I'm into JoJo's Bizzare Adventure, but I must admit I'm still far from being into Jump Force. The game seems to be highly anticipated over the world but I'm skeptical whether it'll be as fun as previous similar games like Jump Ultimate Stars. I highly doubt I will get Jump Force myself, but I'm for those who are looking forward to the game and enjoyed the beta test.

Jump Force will be out in two weeks now, and Bandai Namco has been revealing new characters nearly every week, so I'd say next week we'll see the final inclusions to the roster revealed, barring possible post-release DLC. I'm betting on Slam Dunk characters being revealed next week.

Jump Force is just around the corner nowas it launches on February 15, 2019 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. If you’d like to pre-order the game you can do so right now over at Amazon and get the various pre-order bonuses.
