Not too long ago, I wrote about a petition that got started up to get good old Shaggy included into a Mortal Kombat 11 DLC. Even though the petition has over 370K signatures, in reality, it wasn't going to see the light of day. Tyler Lansdown who is the community manager at NetherRealm made it very clear by stating “Shaggy will not be in the game...at all. Ever. Sorry, dead meme.” What a spoilsport! Well, it now seems that Shaggy will finally have the last laugh as thanks to a PC mod, Shaggy has been added to the recently released anime fighting game Jump Force as a fully playable character. Eat that, Mortal Kombat 11!

Over on YouTube, BeatzYT3 who mods various games has put together a video showcasing Shaggy in all his goofy glory - he is even seen wearing Vegeta’s bulky gloves (who he replaces in this mod) which do nothing for those puny arms, sorry Shaggy. I think we can all agree that the scooby-snack-eater looks bad-ass as we see him achieving a Final Flash, but one thing you may notice is that Shaggy's facial expression doesn't change and that's because Beatz doesn't have the know-how with animation morphers as yet, which I'm sure they will improve on as more players want to play this modded version. In truth, it really doesn't matter for now - we know it's Shaggy and we can hear him thanks to the fully-working voice mod.

In May, fans of Jump Force will have something to look forward to as Bandai Namco revealed that nine DLC characters will be added to the title, which will also be available as part of the game’s season pass. If you have been playing Jump Force and suddenly find yourself raging at all the cutscenes you have to endure, there is a patch for that. It will allow you to skip all of the unbearable parts so that you can get on with enjoying the game.

If you would like to get some hands-on Shaggy action, the mod is available to download now for those with the PC version of Jump Force.

Jump Force was released a few days ago on February 15 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. If you haven't jumped in yet, you can head over to Amazon and pick yourself up a copy.
