There seems to be limited information on what the solid fix is but for now let’s find out how to fix the GPU error in Jurassic World Evolution 2.

Check Requirements

Make sure that your system can actually handle JWE2, you’ll need at least 4GB of VRAM to be able to run the title, let alone being able to run it smoothly or on higher settings.

  • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
  • OS: Windows 10 64bit (min version 1809)

  • Memory: 8 GB RAM

Verify Integrity of Steam Files

Corrupted and damaged files can be the tombstone for any game, you’ll want to make sure this isn’t the issue you’re dealing with.

  1. Launch Steam if it isn’t running already.
  2. Right click on the game you are having issues (in this case Jurassic World Evolution 2).
  3. Select Properties.
  4. Once this loads, click on Local Files.
  5. Lastly Select Verify integrity of game files.

Steam will look through each file, making sure nothing is corrupted.

Graphics Card Driver Updated

Another option is checking your graphics card is up to date. Many players have the right specs to run JWE2 but their software is outdated and so it cannot keep up. Be sure to check this in your system settings.
