Frontier Developments will be releasing Jurassic World Evolution on PC, PS4, and Xbox One next month, and they are building up anticipation in the lead-up to launch with a series of developer diary videos. Today, the second developer diary titled Take Control was released, and it goes over everything players can control of in the game.

The core of Jurassic World Evolution is park management, as players must manage parks across six islands, dealing with dinosaurs, buildings, and guests. That being said, players will also be able to take control of teams and vehicles within the park to get up close to the dinosaurs. Players will usually have to do this in order to stop and tranquilize escaped dinosaurs or just medicate the more peaceful ones.

There will also be a vast sandbox mode, so players can just mess around with the tools the game provides to create their dream park. During the video, the developers also revealed that the game will be receiving a free update post-launch that adds in tie-in content based on the upcoming film Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.
