Just Shapes and Beats Sounds Off on Switch on May 31st

Just Shapes and Beats with be available for Nintendo Switch on May 31st for enthusiasts of both colorful shapes and sick beats.

On Thursday, Nintendo released a trailer to announce the release date of Just Shapes and Beats. If you like shapes –if that is a “thing” that people can like — and EDM (electronic dance music), then mark your calendars for May 31st because this game is for you.

The point of the game is simple. Avoid the shapes and move to the sick beats during each of the game’s stages.  Players can attempt the stages on their own or join up to four other players in both Story Mode and Challenge Runs.

As you can see in the trailer, the brightly colored stages are timed perfectly with the music.  More than twenty chiptune and EDM artists from around the world have contributed their tracks, and the developer, Berzerk Studio, is still accepting new music to be used in the game in the future.

Just Shapes and Beats will be available for Nintendo Switch next week on May 31st, and it will soon be available for PC according to the game’s website.  You can check out the release date announcement trailer below:
