Earlier today, we learned that Reco Love and Photo Kano developer Dingo declared bankruptcy, ceasing all development activities. Kadokawa Games Producer Ichiro Sugiyama followed up on Reco Love's official Twitter account to reassure the fans on the future of the series.

Sugiyama-san mentions that he's really sorry to hear about the demise of Dingo, but all rights for Photo Kano and Reco Love remain with Kadokawa Games, so the fans don't need to worry about the future, and should look forward to what's coming.

With the DLC of Reco Love settled, Sugiyama-san is starting to write a new scenario. While he's in contact with the main staff of the game, he intends to utilize the experience of Photo Kano and Reco Love and work hard to satisfy everyone.

Photo Kano was released in Japan for PSP in February 2nd, 2012, with a PS Vita version following a year later. Reco Love launched on PS Vita on October 20th, 2016. Neither game has been released in the west, but they're widely considered spiritual successors of the popular dating sims KimiKiss and Amagami.
