Kadokawa Games revealed new details on God Wars 2 during the “Kadokawa Games Fan Dai Kanshasai 2018” event this Saturday. In particular, the company mentioned it is taking into account the requests and feedback from fans who played God Wars 1, as a survey was organized in Japan during all of August.

As such, God Wars 2 will feature even better graphics, more emphasis on story and some changes to the characters classes and skill system. Not to say that these three points were bad in the first game though. The first God Wars was a really solid tactical RPG and one of the best we’ve got these past years. The character designs by Taro Minoboshi/Minotaro are great too. You can read our review on the first God Wars here.

God Wars 2′s platforms are still a mystery, but it’ll definitely come for latest consoles seeing the emphasis they put on “even better graphics”. The game was first announced back in July 2018. You can read about some of its new characters and story here.

The first God Wars game, God Wars: Future Past, is now available for PS4 and Vita. An enhanced version for Switch titled God Wars – The Complete Legend is currently available as well. It has all of the first version’s DLC, and some new story and characters too.
