When is Kaguya-sama Love is War season 3 releasing?

The Japanese Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai Twitter account for the series revealed Season 3 is coming in April 2022. During the Spring 2022 anime season.

A brand new mini bonus episode was shared to reveal the date. It’s based on Chapter 110 of the original manga by Aka Akasaka. And it’s pretty funny seeing it was a chapter celebrating the announcement of the first anime season. Parodying anime adaptations and otaku culture.

How to watch the Season 3 mini episode

The episode is available on YouTube. There are no English subs. And even if you can’t speak Japanese, you can read the manga chapter the trailer is based on, and then watch the episode. You’ll be fine without subs.

A new key visual for Season 3 was shared on Twitter as well. Find it below alongside the bonus episode.

Plus, note that the new season is officially titled KAGUYA-SAMA: LOVE IS WAR -Ultra Romantic-. The official Japanese site for the series was also revamped. Needless to say, all the cast will be returning and the staff too. As pointed out above by anime specialist Yuyucow, Mamoru Hatakeyama is still directing the show.
