Katsuhiro Harada Would Like to Make a New Tekken for PS4; Hopes to Cover Xbox One and PC as Well

Like many other developers, legendary Tekken Producer Katsuhiro Harada is already looking at the next current generation.

While the new consoles haven’t been released yet in Japan (the Xbox One doesn’t even have a release date for the moment) today he mentioned that he’d like to develop a new Tekken on PS4 while answering on Twitter to a fan asking for a port of Tekken Tag Tournament 2.

Umm…I think… I want develop new one for PS4.

His words made me wonder if he was thinking about developing the same game for Xbox One as well, and maybe for PC, so I just asked him and he immediately responded:

Of course. I hope.

I did ask about the Wii U as well, afterwards, but I didn’t yet receive an answer about that. I’ll update the article if he does, but for now, if you want a Tekken game on next generation consoles, you know that Katsuhiro Harada is thinking about it as well.
