Keanu Reeves Visits Cyberpunk 2077 Booth at Tokyo Game Show
Keanu sitting atop a prop motorcycle from the world of Cyberpunk 2077 should help make your day a bit brighter.
We already knew that Keanu Reeves was in Tokyo after he visited Hideo Kojima and Kojima Productions earlier this week, but it seems that he’s now found his way over to the Tokyo Game Show as well.
In a new tweet from the official Cyberpunk 2077 Twitter account, Keanu was seen visiting the game’s booth at the Japan-based convention. Two pictures of Keanu were shown, one with him sitting on top of a motorcycle that will appear in Cyberpunk 2077 and another of him signing the booth’s wall at the show. The caption of the tweet says, “Don’t drop below 50mph!” which is a reference to Keanu’s 1994 film Speed.

This is the second major gaming convention that Keanu has appeared at this year alongside his memorable appearance at E3 2019 earlier this summer. It’s uncertain if he is at TGS to help promote Cyberpunk 2077 directly and talk about his involvement as Johnny Silverhand in the game, or if he happened to just be in the area as it was and wanted to drop by.
Even though we’ve known for a few months now that Keanu is in Cyberpunk 2077, it still kind of blows my mind every time I see him directly interacting with the game in some way. While maybe I should just be thankful at a baseline level that he’s involved in this game at all, I’m hoping it opens more doors to him working with video games in the future. I’d still love to see him work with Kojima one day, too.
