Keanu Reeves Has Never Played Cyberpunk 2077, Unlike What CDPR Said Earlier
He doesn't play video games!
The more time passes, the more embarrassing facts are being revealed around the dishonest marketing of Cyberpunk 2077. The latest one? Keanu Reeves has never played Cyberpunk 2077, unlike CDPR’s earlier claim that he has played and “loved it.“
It’s now over a year since Cyberpunk 2077 was launched, and still, the game is not what the fans were expecting at launch. The only hope of fans, for now, is the next-gen update of the game that is slated to arrive sometime in the first quarter of 2022.

On last-gen consoles, the game still experiences a high rate of performance and technical issues, preventing fans from enjoying the game or even finishing the quests and main missions at peace.
In such a critical situation, what CDPR fans probably need to get even more disappointed from the game’s marketing campaign is a revelation of another dishonesty from the developer.
So, Has Keanu Reeves Played Cyberpunk 2077?
Back in 2020, and only a few weeks before the launch of Cyberpunk 2077, Adam Kicinski, CEO of CD Projekt RED, claimed that Keanu Reeves had already played the game, and loved it. However, a recent interview from Keanu Reeves reveals that the claim was not true!
During an interview with The Verge, when Keanu Reeves was asked about whether he has played Cyberpunk 2077 or not, he said that he has only seen demonstrations of it, but never played it.
Now, this is surely going to raise eyebrows when compared to CD Projekt RED’s previous claim. While it remains a mystery that why Adam Kicisinski said Keanu Reeves has played and loved Cyberpunk 2077, it probably needs clarification from the Polish developer if there is any.
Cyberpunk 2077 is now available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC.
