John Wick. Johnny Mnemonic. Ted Logan. That guy that said an audience member was "breathtaking" at E3 2019. Keanu Reeves wears many hats, most of which are exemplary character portrayals. Now, Reeves is going into the world of video games playing the part of Johnny Silverhand in the highly anticipated CD Projekt Red Game, Cyberpunk 2077. In fact, the movie star loved his character so much, he managed to double his screen time in the upcoming RPG.

According to TGCOM 24 journalist Gian Luca Rocco (thanks wccftech) who spoke with Reeves' Italian dubber Luca Ward. According to Ward, Reeves loved his character Johnny Silverhand so much, he convinced the people at CD Projekt Red to double his "screen time," which in turn doubled the number of hours Ward had to spend dubbing.

Reeves' involvement with Cyberpunk 2077 was revealed during Xbox's E3 press conference. At the end of the trailer, we saw Johnny Silverhand for the first time. This was followed by an actual appearance from the Canadian actor where a guy in the audience famously screamed, "you're breathtaking," to Reeves. It is also known that Johnny Silverhand will be an NPC that isn't actually alive in 2077. He is also the lead singer of a band called Samurai in the game; you can listen to one of the songs here.

While this may be the most notable of Reeves' appearances or likenesses in a video game, it is not his first. There was that Bill & Ted game Bill & Ted's Excellent Video Game Adventure for the NES. Then there was also Matrix: Path of Neo and Constantine which released for PS2, Xbox, and PC. More recently, Reeves' likeness was used in John Wick Hex by indie developer Bithell Games.

Cyberpunk 2077 is set to launch on April 16, 2020, for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It will also make its way to Google Stadia.
