It has taken a long time to get to this point, but Kentucky Route Zero is finally set to reach its conclusion in just a few weeks.

After being pushed out of its initially planned release window of 2018, Cardboard Computer and Annapurna Interactive finally have a release date for the fifth and final act of the Kentucky Route Zero saga. The story will at long last conclude in just a couple of weeks when it launches on PC on January 28, 2020.

In addition, Kentucky Route Zero: TV Edition, which is the name of the console iteration of the game, will also be launching on the same day. KRZ: TV Edition will be coming to PS4, Xbox One, and Switch meaning that the game will be on every major platform. Furthermore, the PC release of Kentucky Route Zero will also be available via Steam through a Season Pass option, which contains all of the game's acts and interludes.

As mentioned before, it has been a long time coming for Kentucky Route Zero to finally wrap up. The TV Edition of the game was revealed all the way back in 2017 and was always set to release alongside the final act. However, as things work out in game development sometimes, news on the title fell completely silent for the most part until today. It seems as though Cardboard Computer didn't want to say much else about KRZ until they could finalize a release date, which makes sense. While it took longer to release than expected, at least that wait is finally now almost over.

Alongside the release date announcement, Annapurna Interactive also released a new trailer for Kentucky Route Zero today. You can check this out down below if you're interested.
