Kentucky Route Zero’s Final Episode Coming in Early 2018; Heading to PS4, Xbox One, and Switch

The surreal indie adventure series Kentucky Route Zero will conclude early next year, with the complete series to also arrive on consoles.

The mysterious and enigmatic indie series Kentucky Route Zero has brought players a strange and wondrous world over its various acts, and now those looking to experience the series’ end will be able to see it through to its conclusion early next year.

Publisher Annapurna Interactive has announced that the fifth and final Act of Kentucky Route Zero will release in early 2018 on PC, marking the end of the episodic adventure series since it debuted back in January 2013.

In addition to the release of the final episode next year, Annapurna also announced that a console edition of the title will release at the same point next year for PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. Called Kentucky Route Zero: TV Edition, the console edition of the game will bring together all five Acts from the episodic series into one collection, along with the various Interludes that bring up the action between each Act.

Kentucky Route Zero is available now for PC, Mac, and Linux, with the series’ final episode to arrive next year alongside a new edition of the game for consoles. In the meantime, you can check out a new trailer for the upcoming TV Edition of the game below:
