Kick-Ass: New and Improved Announced

Next week will see the release of a new version of Kick-Ass for the PSN titled “Kick-Ass: New & Improved” with new features, fights, enemies, and a new mission called “Frank’s Night Club”. The title will be downloadable for $9.99 on the Playstation Network starting November 9th, and anybody who bought the original Kick-Ass game will be able to download the new version for free.

“We are committed to continually updating and improving the game,” said Howard Horowitz, Founder and CEO of WHA Entertainment, Inc. “The great thing about today’s digital entertainment platforms is the ability for developers to go back and update content for consumers who previously purchased the game as well as new players.”

Kick-Ass was a very enjoyable comic and I found the movie to be quite fun as well. A sequel to both is in the works by Mark Millar, perhaps a new game will come out to coincide with them. Now somebody just start working on a game based on Millar’s newest book Nemesis.

John is what you might call something of a badass. When he's not writing about games or playing them, he's playing in the Kansas City band "Documentary" and drinking as many different beers as often as he can. He's a huge comic nerd in the best sense of the term, with a particular love for the Creator Owned movement.
