Kickstarter Asking $20,000 to Destroy a PS4 20th Anniversary Canceled After Unsurprising Failure

Remember the crazy Kickstarter project that asked $20,000 to smash a rare PS4 20th anniversary edition to pieces on camera?

Well, it was recently canceled by its author, Charles Tiongson from Las Vegas.

“But it was going so well?!” No, it wasn’t. While it’s true due that, no matter how crazy a project is, you might find someone willing to finance it on the world wide web, this one apparently went too far.

That said, there actually were seven people willing to pay to see the grey console crushed, pledging a whopping total of $128 in funding. Apparently, that wasn’t enough.

All that will remain for the posterity is a video unboxing of the now saved “victim,” which you can see below.

It actually isn’t half bad, and maybe from now on Tiongson will apply his video editing skills to something more constructive.
