Kid Icarus: Uprising was well-received when it originally took flight (yes, pun intended) for the Nintendo 3DS early last year, and even more so for reviving a franchise that hadn't seen daylight for over two decades. If you missed out on grabbing a retail copy of the game when it first released last March, now you have a chance to grab it without even heading out the door.

Nintendo has announced in a tweet that Kid Icarus: Uprising as of today (Friday, November 8th) is now available for purchase and download through the Nintendo eShop on 3DS for $34.99. From there, players can download the game directly to their handheld, and while the download may not come with the AR cards or the console stand that were originally packed in with the retail release, it's still an easy way to get some Pit on the go.
