If you play on the Xbox One and you've been craving to get your hands on Killing Floor 2, then today is your lucky day. Developer and publisher Tripwire Interactive officially announced that the game will be coming to the Xbox One on August 29th, 2017.

While the Xbox One version is set to include everything that the previous versions did, playing on Microsoft's console will grant you access to an exclusive weapon named the Freezethrower, which lets you spray liquid nitrogen at your enemies, freezing them, and allowing you to smash them with ease. Players will be able to customize the Freezethrower with eight different weapon skins. Xbox One players will also get exclusive access to the Wasteland Armor Uniform.

Custom Mixer support, which is Microsoft's livestream service, will also be included.

It was also confirmed that an Xbox One X version is also in development, which will include everything you would expect on a high-end system, such as 4K support, high-resolution textures, and an extended draw distance. It's set to launch when the Xbox One X itself does, on November 7th, 2017.

The game is set to cost $39.99 on Microsoft's consoles.

In other Killing Floor 2 news, a few weeks ago, the game's Summer Sideshow Seasonal Event was revealed, which added a new map, new items, and more.

Killing Floor 2 was originally released November 18th, 2016, and is also available on the PlayStation 4, and Windows PC.
