Killing Floor 2 may be in development right now, but that doesn’t mean Tripwire Interactive has forgotten the original Killing Floor and its diehard community. No stranger to hosting several holiday events, Tripwire has launched their annual Halloween event that is titled the Halloween Horror Double Feature.

The Halloween Horror Double Feature is clearly inspired by old school grindhouse double features, featuring two new maps and a variety of new enemy models. The first map in the double feature is Club Clandestine, featuring a dance floor and an underground torture lab for players to explore and destroy waves of Zed. The second map the Devil’s Dollhouse and features the official Toy Master Mod. All the Zed have been replaced with killer dolls and are part of the Toy Master Game Mode that was designed by Tripwire’s art director, David Hensley.

Along with the Halloween Horror Double Feature is new DLC packs and bundles. There is a Character Pack Bundle (Contains Outbreak, Nightfall, PostMortem, London’s Finest, Steampunk, Steampunk 2 and Urban Nightmare) and a Premium Character Bundle (Contains Ash Harding, Harold Lott, Chickenator, DAR, Mrs Foster, Reggie and the 2 Neon characters) for those who love collecting skins. There is also a new Weapons Bundle (IJC WP 1, Gold WP 1, Gold WP 2, IJC WP 2, Camo WP, IJC WP 3, Neon WP) and a new Community Content Bundle (IJC WP 1, IJC WP 2, IJC WP 3, Neon Characters, Neon WP) for those who want some new hardware to take down Zed with.

You can checkout the update now on PC and try out the game for free this weekend on Steam as part of the Free Weekend Weekend promotion. In the meantime, take a peek at the announcement trailer below.
