Aniplex and CyberConnect2 revealed on February 8 new screenshots and details for Kimetsu no Yaiba Hinokami Keppuutan, the upcoming Demon Slayer console game. While first announced on PS4, we now know the game is also coming to PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC via Steam. An official site and an official Twitter account have launched as well. We translated everything below.The new Japanese press release revealed more on the game modes included in Kimetsu no Yaiba Hinokami Keppuutan, which were previously mentioned.First, Kimetsu no Yaiba Hinokami Keppuutan will include a Story Mode. The Story mode will be a single player mode, retracing the story of the original manga and anime. We don't know yet however if they Story Mode will cover all of the manga or only certain arcs and parts, and conclude before the ending.Next, we have a Versus Mode, which also includes 2 V 2 Tag Battles. Players will be able to play offline or online, and pick many of their favorite characters.

The new screenshots and press release confirms the following playable characters in Kimetsu no Yaiba Hinokami Keppuutan:

Tanjiro Kamado and Nezuko, Inosuke Hashibira, and Zenitsu Agatsuma will be playable. Other characters should be confirmed later on.

The new key visual also features one of the Hashira, Giyu Tomioka, meaning he should be playable as well.

Kimetsu no Yaiba Hinokami Keppuutan is published by Aniplex and developed by CyberConnect2, known for its Naruto games. The game was first announced back in March 2020.

Kimetsu no Yaiba Hinokami Keppuutan has no precise release date besides 2021. Next week's issue of Shonen Jump will reveal new details on the game so stay tuned. A mobile Demon Slayer Kimetsu no Yaiba game was also announced, but has no release date estimate.
