Kimetsu no Yaiba Mobile Game Lets You Play Demon Slayers or Demons
First trailer, screenshots and details for Kimetsu no Yaiba Keppuu Kengeki Royal, the Kimetsu mobile game coming in 2020.
Aniplex revealed new details on the Kimetsu no Yaiba mobile game, Kimetsu no Yaiba Keppuu Kengeki Royal, during the Aniplex 48-hours live stream on Abema TV. We’ve got screenshots and a new trailer, all included further down below.
Kimetsu no Yaiba Keppuu Kengeki Royal is an action game where you can play Demon Slayer characters from either the demon-slaying side or the demon side. The game is free-to-play with microtransactions/ gacha. Overall, it’s described as asymmetrical multiplayer, with each side of players trying to gain the upper hand as they play solo.
The screenshots and trailer make it seems like a pretty standard action game, you progress through levels and fight enemies with some combos.
Kimetsu no Yaiba Keppuu Kengeki Royal is scheduled to launch in 2020 for iOS and Android. While it was only announced in Japan for now, there’s a very high chance the game will be launching worldwide. Kimetsu no Yaiba is a record-breaking, highly popular manga, so there’s no reason why its mobile game wouldn’t be global.
We’ll learn more via the Kimetsu official site at some point. An official Twitter account for the mobile game was opened as well:
