Aniplex has officially announced Kimetsu no Yaiba: Hinokami Keppuutan for PS4 in this week's Shonen Jump magazine released on March 16 (officially titled Weekly Shonen Jump Issue 16 2020). The game is coming in 2021, and is described as a "demon-slaying action game". and as a "versus-fighting action game". While no gameplay, trailer, or screenshots have been shared yet, these genre names mean it's likely that Kimetsu no Yaiba: Hinokami Keppuutan is a 3D arena brawler like the Naruto: Narutimate Series or tons of other shonen manga game adaptations nowadays. The developing studio wasn't revealed yet, but it might be one of the games CyberConnect 2 teased some months ago.

The iOS, Android mobile game Kimetsu no Yaiba Keppuu Kengeki Royal was also officially announced. It will launch in 2020. The game's genre is "asymmetrical versus survival action". It'll be free-to-play with microtransactions/gacha, it's developed by Quatro A and Soleil, and is published by Aniplex.

An official site is now accessible, revealing a new key visual and a logo for both games.

As a reminder, the announcements of both the PS4 game and the mobile game leaked early via magazine leaks.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is one of the most popular manga worldwide nowadays, so it was only a matter of time before multiple game adaptations, such as a PS4 action game, were announced.
