As part of the presentation, developer Popcannibal shared some updates on Kind Words for players looking to relax and send encouraging messages to more players.Popcannibal detailed that since the game's release in fall 2019, over 1 million in-game letters have been sent by players to others anonymously, making for an impressive milestone for the indie game about kindness and empathy. To go along with this, the developer has released a new update that brings some additional content to the game.

Specifically, the new update for Kind Words introduced 10 new stickers that players can attach to their messages for other players. Additionally, the new update also includes a brand new room that players can utilize, new decorations (including an adorable frog), and other new cosmetic items. The update also features some new features and UI improvements, such as some tweaks to the game's inbox, additional graphics settings and options, and performance options for those playing the game on older hardware.
