Kinect Controls Coming to Netflix, Hulu Plus

Microsoft announced during their CES keynote that Kinect controls will be coming to both Netflix and Hulu Plus this spring.

The actual controls weren’t shown at the keynote, nor was an official date announced, but it is expected to be implemented in the next couple months.

While I don’t own a Kinect, this excites me and almost makes me want one. In fact, if it cost less, I’d buy one just for this function.

Next I hope they announce that Netflix’s suggestions feature will draw information from your movements. “You gently gave Parks and Recreation: Season 2 five stars, but vehemently slammed a one out of five on The Big Bang Theory. Would you like more shows like Parks and Rec?”
