The latest patch for The King of Fighters XIII addresses some issues players faced online, primarily connection concerns and match settings. The update, currently available for PS3 owners and not far off for Xbox 360 players, improves antenna connectivity accuracy and allows players to save custom match settings so long as they don't venture beyond the "Player Match/Ranked Match" menu.

Match filtering in general has been improved, according to Atlus, allowing players to dictate what kind of connection speeds they're comfortable with their opponents having. In addition to these fixes, both the PS3 and Xbox 360 editions of The King of Fighters XIII have been temporarily marked down to $39.99 at select retailers.
