Has a new release date been confirmed for the highly-anticipated Pirate RPG title ‘King of the Seas’ following a last-minute delay?

Gamers are disappointed to learn that just a few days before it was due to launch, Pirate-based RPG ‘King of the Seas’ has been delayed.

King of the Seas: Release date

• King of the Seas was originally scheduled to release on Thursday, February 18^th. However, the game has now been delayed until May 2021.

The game was initially scheduled to drop around the world tomorrow, February 18^th. However, it was revealed last week that the release had been pushed back to May 2021.

A more accurate release date has not been confirmed, but it is still expected that the game will release on the same day on all platforms – PC, PS4, Switch and Xbox One.

Why was King of the Seas delayed?

It has been reported that King of the Seas was delayed because the game’s developer 3DClouds has reached a publishing agreement with Team17, a British video game developer and publisher based in Wakefield, England.

This new agreement means that 3DClouds will not have more resources to iron-out the game before its general release.

It also means that the game can now be translated into German, French, Spanish and Traditional Chinese.
