Has a new release date been confirmed for the highly-anticipated Pirate RPG title ‘King of the Seas’ following a last-minute delay?

Gamers are disappointed to learn that just a few days before it was due to launch, Pirate-based RPG ‘King of the Seas’ has been delayed.

Now, many are wondering why the game was delayed and if a new release date has been confirmed?

King of the Seas: Release date

  • King of the Seas was originally scheduled to release on Thursday, February 18th. However, the game has now been delayed until May 2021.

The game was initially scheduled to drop around the world tomorrow, February 18th. However, it was revealed last week that the release had been pushed back to May 2021.

A more accurate release date has not been confirmed, but it is still expected that the game will release on the same day on all platforms – PC, PS4, Switch and Xbox One.

Why was King of the Seas delayed?

It has been reported that King of the Seas was delayed because the game’s developer 3DClouds has reached a publishing agreement with Team17, a British video game developer and publisher based in Wakefield, England.

This new agreement means that 3DClouds will not have more resources to iron-out the game before its general release.

It also means that the game can now be translated into German, French, Spanish and Traditional Chinese.

This article will be updated as soon as more information on the King of the Seas release is confirmed by either 3DClouds or Team17.
