After launching in January, Kingdom Hearts 3 will be getting a trailer for its first DLC next week. Square-Enix announced this news via the official Kingdom Hearts Twitter account.

Set to launch this winter, Kingdom Hearts III: Re Mind features new story content and the ability to play as characters such as Riku, Aqua, and Roxas. Additionally, the DLC will feature secret story content and a secret boss battle. In a previous interview, Kingdom Hearts creator Tetsuya Nomura also mentions that once players complete certain sections of the DLC, a character select screen will appear on screen, but it'll only appear if you've cleared the main game.

Kingdom Hearts 3 launched back in January and has become one of the highest rated games in the franchise and it's gone on to be the best-selling game in the franchise. Since its release, the game has added a harder critical mode difficulty, a secret ending, and a new game plus mode. As a massive Kingdom Hearts fan, I'm curious and excited to play Re Mind and see what story content will be added. It's still my favorite game of 2019 and I'm ready for an excuse to come back to the game.

Kingdom Hearts 3 is available now on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Its Re Mind DLC is set to launch later this winter.
