Following the reveal of the Toy Story world at D23 in Anaheim, the North American branch of Square Enix released a batch of screenshots of Kingdom Hearts III. Today it’s the turn of the Japanese arm of the company to publish its own press kit, which included a different batch of screenshots.
The screenshots, coming from both the newly-revealed Toy Story world and the previously-released Hercules world look absolutely fantastic, focusing on the beautiful and colorful gameplay that we have come to know and love.
Of course, you shouldn’t miss our interview with Director Tetsuya Nomura himself, directly from D23 expo. He explained why the game’s development extended longer than expected, how the team packed much more gameplay and fun in Kingdom Hearts III than in previous games of the franchise, and how he tackles the challenge of developing the game alongside another massive production like Final Fantasy VII Remake.
Kingdom Hearts III will be released in 2018 for PS4 and Xbox One, at long last.
