Kingdom Hearts 3 Official Soundtrack Drops This November
Kingdom Hearts 3 fans can expect eight discs and over 90 songs for the official soundtrack releases later this year.
The Kingdom Hearts franchise is well-known for having a ton of content. However, seeing that the upcoming Kingdom Hearts 3 soundtrack comes with eight discs worth of series’ music even feels like a bit of overkill. That said, fans of the game will be happy to hear that, later this year, they’ll have over 90 songs to pump straight into their earholes. Thanks to Kingdom Hearts Insider, we’re also hearing that a worldwide release will launch alongside the physical release in Japan.
As mentioned above, the Kingdom Hearts 3 soundtrack includes over 90 tracks. Of course, these include Hikaru Utada’s theme songs, but the listing also brings in songs from several other places. Fans can expect tracks from base Kingdom Hearts 3, the Re Mind DLC, HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, Unchained X, and Union X [Cross]. So, quite the collection of music for your Kingdom Hearts-loving ears.
Alongside the upcoming release, Kingdom Hearts Insider is also reporting that the team is holding a contest in September. Basically, fans will enter a lottery to win autographs from the game’s composers. So, if you’re looking to add Yoko Shimomura, Takeharu Ishimoto, and Tsuyoshi Sekito’s signatures to your collection, this is one way to do so.
The Kingdom Hearts 3 soundtrack is coming to a digital platform near you on November 11. If you still haven’t played the latest game in the main series, it’s available now on PS4 and Xbox One. Melody of Memory, a new rhythm action game, is set to launch later this year for Nintendo Switch, PS4, and Xbox One.
