on January 25, 2012 11:15 AM

The next game in the Kingdom Hearts series, Dream Drop Distance, is slated for release on the Nintendo 3DS on March 29 in Japan. The game features fantastic musical composition by series veteran Yoko Shimomura, and KH3DS like its predecessor will also see an official release of the game’s soundtrack.

The soundtrack for Dream Drop Distance will span three discs and is scheduled for release on April 18. The score is a joint composition between Shimomura, Takeharu Ishimoto (Dissidia series, Final Fantasy Type-0) and Tsuyoshi Sekito (Dissdia series and guitarist for Nobuo Uematsu’s band, The Black Mages), the latter two being in-house composers for Square Enix. The official webpage is available for viewing here.
