Kingdom Hearts III Demo Out Now for PS4 and Xbox One
There's a new demo out on PS4 and Xbox One for Kingdom Hearts III, if you need more convincing to buy the latest main installment.
For those who haven’t gotten into the latest main installment of the long running Kingdom Hearts franchise, Square Enix has quite the surprise for you. A demo version of Kingdom Hearts III is available to download now from both the PSN store and XBL store, according to Wario64‘s recent tweet:

Even better is that save data from the Olympus World is transferable to the main game, which is even more incentive to try out Kingdom Hearts III for yourself since all that progress would give you a leg up in the full version. You can currently purchase the full game now for PS4. And if you need some more convincing, check out our review of the title here.
Announced during this year’s Inside Xbox presentation, Square Enix confirmed that Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix, and Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue will each be coming to Xbox One. This means that, for the first time ever, every major installment in the beloved series will be available on a non-PlayStation platform. It also allows the full saga to now be played solely on Xbox One, considering that it was already released on the platform earlier this year.
Earlier this year, Square Enix released a new trailer for the upcoming Kingdom Hearts III DLC Re:Mind. It was back in June where we first learned about the new content confirming that players will be able to play as Riku, Aqua, and Roxas during the Organization XIII battles in the final act of the game. There will also be new cutscenes, in which some of them focus on members of the Organization. While there’s no official release date yet, it’s still slated for a Winter 2019 release window (which can include early 2020 as well).
Critical Mode was also recently added, giving players the options to challenge themselves on the now hardest difficulty for the game. Critical Mode also includes new abilities exclusive to this difficulty such as lowered HP and MP, as well as tougher enemies to deal with.
