With Kingdom Hearts III pretty much confirmed not to be at E3, and several articles misleading fans to believe that they'd have to wait three more years for the game, many had lost hope to see anything relevant any time soon.

Yet, Square Enix surprised many by revealing a new trailer of the game not at the prominent trade show in Los Angeles, but instead at the Kingdom Hearts Orchestra World Tour concert held in the same city.

Director Tetsuya Nomura himself walked on the stage to mention the absence of the game at E3, but he immediately followed up by announcing that the new trailer would be shown right there and then. Considering that the previous look on Kingdom Hearts III was from December 2015, it's not surprising that the fans in the audience reacted by going absolutely wild.

Below you can check two videos by Twitter user Kaes Caliburne‏ (via YouTube user Ninja) and YouTube user Dont Know.

The first video shows the reactions to Nomura's announcement just before the trailer, with the crowd going absolutely wild and a fan even shouting "I'm gonna die!" to the top of his lungs. The second video shows the reactions during the trailer itself.

This certainly shows how hungry the fans of the series are of new information, especially considering how scarce Square Enix's communication about it has been. Luckily, more is coming at D23 Expo on July 15th, with a new trailer and the presentation of a new world. Of course we're all wondering, will we get at least a release window at the end of that trailer.

We can only wait and hope. But for now, you can check out the videos below. You can watch the original trailer here, and our analysis.

Kingdom Hearts III will release for PS4 and Xbox One, but we have no idea on when yet.

Update: the videos have been removed due to a request from Square Enix, due to a strict no filming policy within the venue.
