Sony Announces Limited Edition Kingdom Hearts 15th Anniversary PS4 for Japan

Today Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan and Asia and Square Enix announced a special limited edition PS4 to be released in Japan to celebrate the 15th anniversary of Kingdom Hearts and the upcoming release of Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue.

The console will be released on January 12th, 2017 in Japan for 33,980 yen plus tax for a 500 gigabytes model and 38,980 yen for a one terabyte model. Pre-orders start today on Sony’s own store.

The box will not include the new game, but will come with the console, a custom laser-etched top cover, an exclusive theme, and special packaging. For those who already have a PS4, the top cover will also be sold separately for 3,000 yen plus taxes.
