This year is currently poised to be a big one for Kingdom Hearts fans. After many years of anticipation, Kingdom Hearts III will supposedly release sometime this year. In the interim between Kingdom Hearts II and Kingdom Hearts III, we have seen tons of spinoff, some of which have made their way to mobile devices like Kingdom Hearts Union χ[Cross], which released last year.

Kingdom Hearts Union χ[Cross] garnered decent reception upon its release and has continued to have a steady player base since launch, even in western territories like North America. That is why today Square Enix announced that they will be holding the first ever US community event for the game at House of Blues Anaheim in Anaheim, California this April.

The event will happen April 15, and tickets for the event will become available for purchase tomorrow at this link. The tickets will cost $20 plus service fees and are limited in number. Travel and accommodation fees are clearly not included, so you'll have to set those up for yourself if you decide to go. Entries are also limited to those who live in the Americas.

According to Square Enix, those who attend the event will "participate in various activities and try new in-game experiences that celebrate the world of Kingdom Hearts Union χ[Cross]." Outside of that, people who attend this community event will also get to meet Franchise Director Tetsuya Nomura, Hironori Okayama, producer of Kingdom Hearts Union χ[Cross], and other developers who will give those attending more insight into the game.

Kingdom Hearts Union χ[Cross] is currently available on iOS and Android as a free-to-play game with in-app microtransactions.
