According to Nintendo Japan's website, Kirby and the Rainbow Curse will take up 3.5GB of space on the Wii U if players choose to buy it digitally as well as another 1MB for the save file.

The game requires you to use the GamePad in single player mode which makes sense given that players will have to draw their path for Kirby. Any additional players during co-op can use the Wii Remote, Wii U Pro Controller or Classic Controller Pro.
