With Kirby: Battle Royale for 3DS only being two weeks away from release in North America, Nintendo is beginning to promote it more. Recently, the released a short trailer that highlights the game's most significant features.

The trailer itself only clocks in at thirty seconds but does a good job at giving players a general feeling for the game, which was made to celebrate the series' 30th anniversary. For those who don't know, in Kirby: Battle Royale the titular pink puffball must face other versions of himself in 10 different battle modes. Players have access to a plethora of different abilities, including fan-favorite Mirror, which may give some players an edge in battle depending on the challenge.

There is also an emphasis on multiplayer in Kirby: Battle Royale. Fortunately, the game does support online multiplayer, unlike some of Nintendo's other multiplayer-focused 3DS titles. If you want to see even more of the game, you can check out the title's European launch trailer. For those of you who want to try the game out early, a free demo was released on the 3DS' North American eShop yesterday.

You can check out the new trailer below. Kirby: Battle Royale will release exclusively on 3DS in North America on January 19.
