Yesterday, Nintendo announced via Twitter that a free demo is available now for Kirby’s next upcoming platforming adventure in Kirby Star Allies.

The demo consists of a couple of levels where you can try out a whole bunch of Kirby’s new powers that’ll be available in the game. If you’re interested in the game, now is the best time to try out the game since the game will be available in less than two weeks. The release date was announced at an early Nintendo Direct Mini back in January.

In Kirby Star Allies players will use a new item called the “Friend Heart” which will allow you to invite other players to the game or convert your enemies into allies that will join your team. As this is a more conventional Kirby game, the other abilities you’d expect Kirby to have will still be there. So you can definitely enjoy eating different enemies and absorbing their powers.

Kirby Star Allies will launch exclusively on the Nintendo Switch on March 16. You can check out some more gameplay from Nintendo’s official YouTube account.
