Last week saw a lot of new releases, which included the new king of the list, Kirby Star Allies, that showcased a solid debut, also pushing a few thousand Switch consoles more than usual, with Nintendo's hybrid now being readily available on the store shelves for anyone who wants to buy one.
Attack on Titan 2 had a pretty decent debut, especially considering that it was split into three platforms, achieving about 65,000 units at debut, with the PS4 SKU leading over the Switch one.
As is to be expected due to the difference in installed base, PS4 versions sold best for every other release on both platforms, Including Winning Post 8 2018, and Gal*Gun 2, the Switch version of which failed to make the top-twenty at all. Looks like Japanese Switch players are more interested in pink balls than in white panties.
One thing Japanese gamers really aren't interested in are remasters, as Devil May Cry HD Edition demonstrates once more, with a very disappointing debut.
