New Kirby: Triple Deluxe Gameplay Trailer Shown, Two New Modes Announced

The latest Kirby game, Kirby: Triple Deluxe, received new gameplay footage during the Nintendo Direct today, as well as two new modes.

The first mode is called Kirby Fighters which let’s you and other players wield ten different Kirby abilities against each other in an all out brawl. The second mode is titles King Dedede’s Drum Dash, which is a drumming rhythm game starring the main antagonist of the series.

In terms of gameplay, the game uses 3D to the fullest, as players can view the center, foreground and background simultaneously. Enemies can also attack Kirby from the foreground and background, which adds even more gameplay diversity.

Kirby: Triple Deluxe will be released in 2014 for 3DS.
