What started as "snippets of text, scraps of an audio recording and fragments of video footage, all with a very oddly-worded message written in a disturbing style" soon evolved into a full-on video game project called Knock-Knock. The developers at Ice-Pick Lodge took these weird and creepy pieces sent to their studio anonymously and created something very intriguing.

Knock-Knock stars a man that lives in a secluded house. Mysterious guests arrival occasionally to play a game of hide-and-seek with him. Once the Visitor emerges from the forest the game begins and the man must keep his sanity until morning while constantly moving and finding breeches to let creatures in, since the Visitor always knows your position. You may come across some useful items that might help your survival, but those items are always random and your inventory is limited to 5 slots, so your gear changes by night.

The trailer showcases some of the unsettling artwork and an early gameplay build. There's also a sizable amount of screenshots and artwork, which gives you a closer look at the art and character designs, as well as a little backstory for the protagonist. This game has truly piqued my interest so far and I can't wait to see more.
