Kojima Productions Merchandise Goes on Sale; Producer Talks Future Plans, Won’t Talk About Konami

Kojima Productions Producer Ken-Ichiro Imaizumi gave more information on Twitter on what we can expect from the store of the studio, that is starting operations today.

First of all, the merchandise package announced last week is now available for pre-order for Japan and for international shipping. You can see the contents in the gallery below.

While the page mentions that supplies are limited, Imaizumi-san clarified that it’s not a limited edition. It might go temporarily out of stop when the planned production volume is reached, but it will return in stock afterwards. More products will also be introduced in time.

Imaizumi-san also explained that he does not want to talk about Konami at all, as the studio just wants to think positively about the future, since they have been through some “though circumstances” for a while.

He then mentioned that maybe the studio should make an official Twitter account, confirming that @KojimaProdMedia and @RealKojimaPro are fakes. That said, he explained that it won’t happen for a while, as the studio is focusing on hiring talent and not a PR representative. He also clarified that for now there’s no plan to restart with the Kojima Station broadcasts.

Incidentally, since Kojima-san’s invitation to imagine the logo’s body, the fanart featuring the skeletal space knight keeps coming.
