As one of the biggest and most popular game developers in the world, Hideo Kojima has many fans around the globe who are so excited to hear more about the upcoming projects from the legendary developer and his team at Kojima Productions.

After working on the Metal Gear Solid series for over a decade, Death Stranding was the first title from Hideo Kojima and his own indie studio. It was probably Kojima's most cinematic game with very unique gameplay.

Death Stranding didn't receive overwhelmingly positive reviews similar to Kojima's Metal Gear Solid games, but the fact that he tried a brand new formula was admirable, and the result was still favorable for most of the gamers who played it.

Kojima Productions Is Working on a Triple-A Game As Well As a Smaller Project

Recently, Hideo Kojima appeared in a special episode of NHK Radio as a guest, talking about the "wonderful world of game music," and teasing his upcoming projects a little bit.

During the interview, Kojima revealed that he is currently working on "a big triple-A title that everyone will say that they want to play." He didn't go into details, but this small description could mean a lot for fans.

Regarding that Death Stranding features a unique gameplay style that might not fit into everybody's taste of games, Kojima might be working on something with a bigger audience at the moment.

Furthermore, the Japanese developer revealed that Kojima Productions is also working on a smaller project which is neither open-world nor shooter. He said that they are currently struggling to hire more staff for their smaller project due to the global pandemic.

Last but not least, the LA branch of Kojima Productions is working on movies and probably an anime!

It's yet to be known who will be the publisher for the next big project from Kojima Productions. Some rumors claim that he will be partnering with Xbox Game Studios.
