Hideo Kojima tweeted out a very peculiar and cryptic tweet this morning, two days before the start of the 2014 Tokyo Game Show. The tweet says "Keywords?!" and shows off a picture that reads "Keyword: 37."

Considering that Kojima is a master at using elaborate ploys to tease news on his projects – like hiding the latest Metal Gear Solid game in plain sight as the Phantom Pain by a Swedish Developer named Moby Dick Studios and concealing the Silent Hills announcement in the P.T. demo – this most likely hints at something he is working on. Yet, what does that 37 mean?

It is well known that Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain and P.T. will be on stage at the Tokyo Game Show this coming weekend, so the hint could be teasing some sort of reveal planned for the show. We also know that Kojima will give more Metal Gear SolidV details at the show, so it perhaps is a hint toward that?

Popular theories seem to be a hint to the release date of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.  Speculation includes that the game will launch in 37 weeks, an announcement will be made in 37 hours or that the release date is in fact March, 7th 2015 (3/7, i.e. 37).  Some of the wilder theories I've seen even suggest that 37 is a word you can say into your microphone during the P.T. demo to unlock new events.

Truth is, no one knows at this point what this tease means, so I now leave this mystery in your hands. Let me know in the comments below what you think Kojima is up with this tease before the Tokyo Game Show this weekend.
