Kojima has liked 12 Minutes so much that he might start to create a new adventure game.

Annapurna Interactive's much anticipated narrative-driven title, 12 Minutes, is now out and has received pretty favorable reviews so far.

Starring Daisy Ridley, James McAvoy, and Willem Dafoe, 12 Minutes is about a time loop, where your choices and actions could have horrible consequences.

Hideo Kojima, the legendary developer behind the Metal Gear series and Death Stranding, has been one of many players who have already fallen in love with 12 Minutes' story, easter eggs, and twisted characters.

Hideo Kojima Reacts to 12 Minutes

During the last few hours, Kojima tweeted a few times about his experience in 12 Minutes, admiring the game's cast, especially Willem Dafoe for his Lighthouse-like performance in the game.

In one tweet, Kojima said that he has not been into a game like this since Playdead's Inside. Soon after that, Kojima said that 12 Minutes "kinda makes [him] want to create another adventure game."

Now, this tweet received huge attention from his fans on Twitter as they believe it might be a tease for Kojima's next project.

Currently, A Director's Cut edition from Death Stranding is on the way to hit PS5 this year. But beyond that, no one knows what would be Kojima's next project. Some believe that after his collaboration with Google was terminated, he might join forces with Microsoft for his next project.

That being said, it's always tough to predict Hideo Kojima's next move. The only thing that we do know is that he is working on something new, but no one really knows what this could be.

12 Minutes is now available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC. The Xbox Game Pass subscribers can play it for free.

Rachael Fiddis from DualShockers rated 12 Minutes 8.5 out of 10, calling it an intriguing experience that you can't stop thinking about even when you're not playing. You can check out Rachael's review here.
